If you’re in the mood for a more active day, the Orchestra incorporates a modern gym, no less than five swimming pools and a jogging track, allowing you to exercise as little or as much as you choose against the backdrop of stunning sea views. There is also a host of sports activities at the sports centre to keep you entertained – try your hand at shuffleboard, start a family mini golf tournament, relax in a whirlpool bath, or simply top up your tan in the solarium.

Young cruisers are well catered for too, with their very own clubs and spaces for under 3s, 3 – 6s, 7 – 11s and 12 – 17s. They’ll also find playrooms, video and arcade games, and other exciting activities throughout the ship to keep them amused.

For those who love shopping, there are plenty of opportunities for retail therapy on board. Most of the shops are located on Deck 6 where you can find clothes, luxury goods, gifts and accessories. You’ll also find a number of outlets on other decks, including the Aurea spa shop.

Start your culinary journey at L’Ibiscus on Deck 6 or Villa Borghese on Deck 5; these are the ship’s two main formal dining rooms, offering a wide variety of tantalising cuisines to suit every taste. For something different, try the Four Seasons – a gourmet, Italian-inspired a-la- carte dining experience, or opt for the intimacy of Shanghai, a small restaurant serving Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian and Indian delicacies. If self-serve is more your style, a trip to La Piazzetta, the ship’s buffet restaurant and pizzeria, will more than satisfy the hungriest of appetites.

Your choice of evening entertainment includes a flutter at the Palm Beach Casino, a sensational show at the MSC Orchestra’s very own Covent Garden Theatre, or the chance to dance the night away in the leopard-themed Savannah bar. For more relaxed nights, there are nine bars and lounges to choose from, each with a different vibe.
