Boasting its own unique style which has been described by cruise authors as ‘European Moderne’, the MSC Sinfonia offers guests the ingredients of the perfect cruise. Built in 2002 and refurbished in 2015, the Sinfonia’s spacious cabins, host of activities and fine dining make it a popular choice for both first-time and experienced cruisers alike.

The refurbishment introduced a new 24-metre midsection to the ship, giving guests the option of spacious cabins with panoramic views from a private balcony. A further addition was the 319-square metre music and dance space, perfect for partying the night away at sea.

The Sinfonia hosts an excellent range of activities for the daytime, including the swimming pool, whirlpool bath, mini golf, games arcade and so much more. For those who like to stay active, there’s a gym, power walking track, shuffleboard and a sports centre to explore. Evening entertainment includes the ship’s theatre, Teatro San Carlo, together with the casino and the disco, where you can dance until the early hours.

For shopaholics, there are outlets-a-plenty to explore, offering jewellery and accessories, watches and sunglasses, perfume and other branded goods. Take time out to indulge in a little retail therapy, and treat yourself from the exciting range on offer, before heading to one of the Sinfonia’s many bars for a luscious cocktail or glass of your favourite prosecco.

For younger guests, the Sinfonia offers a range of experiences created in association with family favourites Namco®, Chicco and LEGO®. There are clubs for under 3s, 3 – 6s (mini club), 7s – 11s (junior club), 12s to 14s (young club) and 15 – 17 year olds (teen club), each offering an age-appropriate space to hang out with activities. There’s also the much-loved Doremi spray park, which is packed with exciting water features to keep the kids entertained for hours.

For guests who value their downtime, the now-extended MSC Aurea Spa offers the ultimate relaxation experience. Unwind with your choice of massage, facial or body treatment, or enjoy some much-deserved pamper time with a manicure, pedicure or hair makeover. All treatments are delivered by trained expert beauty therapists in the comfort of sumptuous, exotic surroundings that create a haven of peace and tranquillity. 

Dining on the Sinfonia is always a stylish affair, no matter which of the ship’s three restaurants you choose. Il Galeone on Deck 5 is the largest of the two formal restaurants with a light airy feel, while Il Covo overlooks the stern on Deck 6 and offers a cosier, more intimate vibe. The third option is La Terrazza Buffet on Deck 11, which offers informal, buffet-style dining. All restaurants offer a very wide selection of delicious cuisines to suit all tastes and a substantial wine list is also available. Finally, for a quick snack, Caffé Del Mare on Deck 11 offers tasty pizza, pasta and hamburgers throughout the day.
