The first member of Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Class, Quantum of the Seas was the most technologically-advanced ship in the world when she launched in November 2014. Offering a selection of never-before-seen features including the world’s first at-sea skydiving experience, a huge observation pod which raised over 300ft above the ocean’s surface and a bar manned by robotic bartenders.
The ship has since been joined by sister vessels Anthem of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas. The huge popularity of Quantum of the Seas has even seen Royal Caribbean plan two additional ships to launch in 2019 and 2020.
Royal Caribbean relocated Quantum of the Seas in Shanghai after the ship’s first season in operation, serving the rapidly-growing Asian cruise market. The ship boasts a number of features implemented exclusively by Royal Caribbean to cater for the local culture.
World-Leading Entertainment
As one of the world’s largest and best-stocked cruise ships, Quantum of the Seas can boast a large number of entertainment facilities including the stunning Two70° Lounge, a two-deck performance venue backed by huge LCD screens displaying digital visuals.
A more traditional performance venue is present in the form of the two story music hall on decks 3 and 4. Serving as a nightclub and a live music venue, the hall provides plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Comprehensive Culinary Options
Dedicated to ensuring that all tastes and palates are catered for, Royal Caribbean packed Quantum of the Seas with a huge selection of dining options. With more than 10 complimentary eateries aboard the ship, offering everything from steak and lobster to noodles and burgers, as well as a number of speciality dining options; everyone will find something to excite their taste buds.
